The United States Army Warrant Officers Association (USAWOA) awards the title of ‘Outstanding Chapter of the Year’ to local chapters that demonstrate exceptional support, recruitment, and community service for the warrant officer cohort.
The Redstone Arsenal ‘Silver’ Chapter (Huntsville, Alabama) has achieved high distinction, winning the USAWOA Outstanding Chapter of the Year award multiple times, including in 2004, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. The chapter is heavily active in North Alabama, organizing community events such as the Huntsville/Madison County Veterans Day parade and supporting local veteran coalitions.
